Dear Members,
We just received notice from the city of Pointe-Claire that we are allowed to open. Our pool will be open from 3-8pm today. Please note that the pool temperature is currently 71 degrees. This is considered a very cold temperature for a public swimming pool. Pools are normally kept at a temperature of 78-80 degrees. There are known risks to swimming in cold temperatures. Should you choose to come and swim at Lakeshore, please be attentive to how you and possibly your young ones are feeling. Report any abnormal symptoms to the lifeguards on duty.
If you would prefer a warmer swimming option, Lakeside and Cedar Park will continue to welcome our members (you will need to show your multi-card with 2023 SHORE sticker).
