Voici les résultats de la compétition d’hier LAKESHORE 567 points – CAVIP 477 points ! C’était un plaisir d’entendre les encouragements et de voir les sourires sur les visages de chacun ! Merci à tous les nageurs, bénévoles, sauveteurs, aux familles et amis qui sont venus encourager notre équipe !

Nous sommes déjà à la moitié de la saison pour les compétitions. La semaine prochaine la compétition aura lieu à Lakeshore contre Beaurepaire. Nous aurons besoin de 8 à 10 bénévoles. Plusieurs familles seront en déplacement à Calgary la semaine prochaine pour les championnat junior canadien. Bonne chance à tous les nageurs ! La semaine qui suivra (3 août) la compétition aura lieu à Valois et nous aurons besoin de 10 à 12 bénévoles. La dernière compétition aura lieu à domicile contre Windemere et nous aurons besoin de 16 bénévoles. Finalement Lakeshore sera l’hôte de la final de sections samedi le 13 août, nous vous tiendrons au courant des détails dans les prochaines semaines.

Encore une fois bravo à nos nageurs et merci à nos bénévoles qui nous aident cet été, nous ne pourrions y arriver sans vous !!!

RECAP of CAVIP MEET and Looking Ahead!

Here are the results you’ve all been waiting for- LAKESHORE 567 points vs CAVIP 477 points! It was great to hear all the loud cheers and to see so many smiling faces around the pool last night! Thank you to all swimmers, volunteers, lifeguards, families and friends who came out last night to support the team!!

We are midway through Wednesday summer meets. Next week (July 27) we’re at HOME swimming against Beaurepaire- we will need 8 to 10 more volunteers for this meet. Several Lakeshore families will be travelling to Calgary next week for Junior Nationals- Best wishes to all swimmers competing in this BIG event! The following week (Aug 3), we’ll be AWAY at Valois and will need about 10 to 12 for this one. The final Weds night meet will be at HOME vs Windermere- we’ll need about 16 more volunteers. Lastly, Lakeshore will be hosting SECTION FINALS on Saturday August 13, 2016! Stay tuned for more information!

Again, Congratulations to Lakeshore swimmers and thank you to all volunteers who have helped out at the swim meets this summer – we couldn’t do all of this without you!!

Nous travaillons à la création d’un horaire qui offre la nage libre ainsi que des programmes limités, tout en suivant les directives gouvernementales pour assurer la sécurité de nos membres.

End of session 1

Summer is flying by and this Thursday, July 21st already marks the end of the first session. Parents can register their children in lessons for the 2nd session on Thursday morning after receiving their child’s report card. Session 2 will begin on Monday, July 25th.

wildwestAs per Lakeshore tradition, we will celebrate the end of a great first session by having our famous dress-up day. The theme of the day is the Wild Wild West. So YEEE-HAAH come dressed up as a cowboy, cowgirl or a farm animal. We look forward to having a good ol’ time!

Recap- Swim Meet Lakeshore vs Westmount July 13 2016

We finally had our first home meet! We’re excited to announce a second win for the season! The final score- 576 points for Lakeshore versus Westmount with 480. A big congratulations all round! We had a great turn out with a good energy in the air but it certainly was a scorcher! Thank you so much to all volunteers who came out to help despite the incredible heat. Next week-Wednesday July 20– we’ll be heading to CAVIP for our second AWAY meet- for those who don’t know… this pool is in Ile Perrot! I will be starting my search again for volunteers for this meet so please write me an email and let me know if you can help out! Freestyle relays for 8 and under girls then boys

Relays for 9/10 girls then boys followed by Relays for 11/12, 13/14, 15+

Missed Registration?!

From May 25 to June 13, you can register by dropping off your forms and payment by cheque in the box at 50 Bayview Pointe-Claire. 

Starting June 14, you can drop off your registration directly at the pool. 

Our opening weekend is June 14 and 15, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Du 25 mai au 13 juin vous pouvez vous inscrire en déposant votre formulaire et paiement par chèque dans la boîte au 50 Bayview Pointe-Claire. 

À partir du 14 juin vous pourrez déposer votre inscription directement à la piscine. 

Notre fin de semaine d’ouverture est le 14 et 15 juin de 12h à 20h.
