Recap- Swim Meet Lakeshore vs Westmount July 13 2016

We finally had our first home meet! We’re excited to announce a second win for the season! The final score- 576 points for Lakeshore versus Westmount with 480. A big congratulations all round! We had a great turn out with a good energy in the air but it certainly was a scorcher! Thank you so much to all volunteers who came out to help despite the incredible heat. Next week-Wednesday July 20– we’ll be heading to CAVIP for our second AWAY meet- for those who don’t know… this pool is in Ile Perrot! I will be starting my search again for volunteers for this meet so please write me an email and let me know if you can help out! Again, we welcome anyone who would like to time- no experience necessary! My email address is: scookson@videotron.ca. Wishing everyone an enjoyable weekend!

6:15pm: Kids need to be at Pool to check in with Lifeguards
6:30pm: Kids start Warm up/ Officials meet at Pool
6:45pm: Meetings for Officials
7pm: Start of Meet

Freestyle
Freestyle relays for 8 and under girls then boys
Breast Stroke
Back Stroke
Butterfly
Relays for 9/10 girls then boys followed by Relays for 11/12, 13/14, 15+

Annual General Meeting 2021

To all Lakeshore members,
 
This year’s virtual AGM will take place on Tuesday, September 7th at 7pm.

Members who wish to attend must email infolakeshore@gmail.com to receive the Zoom meeting link. 

Aside from discussing the operations and the challenges from this past season, an important function of the AGM is to elect members for the Pool Committee. Please note that Lakeshore’s future rests in part in having a strong/large/dynamic committee that represents all members of our community. As such, all the committee positions are open each year and, if anyone wishes to be a candidate for one of the positions, they are more than welcome to apply at the AGM. If we have more than one applicant per position, than a private ballot vote will take place.

Assemblée générale annuelle 2021

À tous nos membres, 

Notre AGA virtuelle aura lieu le jeudi 7 septembre à 19h.

Les membres qui souhaitent y assister doivent envoyer un courriel au infolakeshore@gmail.com pour recevoir le lien de la rencontre Zoom. 

Nous discuterons, entre autres, du budget, des activités, des défis de la saison et d’un point important : l’élection des membres du comité de la piscine. Prenez en note que l’avenir de notre piscine repose sur un comité fort, diversifié et dynamique qui représente tous les membres de notre communauté. Tous les postes sont ouverts chaque année et chaque membre est invité à se présenter. Dans le cas où plusieurs personnes se présentent au même poste un vote secret sera fait.
